Christmas Break assignment
Over the break, post an introductory comment on the BlogSpace: who are you in class, and who are you outside of school? If these two are radically different, explain a little bit about the discrepancy.
Here at school I am just one of those quiet girls that goes with the flow. At home I am opposite than I am at school. I'm always talking and chillen' with my sibilings. I'm constantly doing something active though.
ReplyDeleteAt school I'm a bit of a nerd. At home I'm just an average kid who loves his family and wants to do good in life.
ReplyDeleteAt school I am usually always really nervous and/or shy but it really depends who I am around. During this last term my two best friends moved so I had to change my whole school routine. In the classroom sometimes I am really talkative but if I have to talk if front of the whole class room I turn really red and it is really embarrassing. At home I usually try to relax because either I just get done playing a sport, doing homework and/or I am just stressed out from school. I hang out with my friends and family and don’t forget my huskies Pebbles and Tazor.
ReplyDeleteAt school, I like hanging out with friends. I like getting good grades and I won't be satisfied until I do. I guess that would make me a bit nerd-ish. I loathe homework, though. I will, almost always, procrastinate until the last minute or day for any type of homework. I tend to be shy around people I've never met before.
ReplyDeleteAt home, I like watching TV and relaxing. I hang out with friends and family. I like to read, but only if it's a good book. Outside of school, I'm still a little shy, but I like talking to anyone who wants to talk. I like going to new places and seeing new things.
Welllll, in class i usually do my work. I'm usually on task, and focus on getting good grades and everything. I'll talk to my friends and everything, but it's not bad enough that I don't get my work done.
ReplyDeleteAt home, I'm pretty lazy. :D When i'm with friends, I can be kind of loud.. And I just love to laugh and have a good time. It's not like I'm not like that in class, but I don't like getting in trouble, haha.
I don't know if there's much of a difference between home and class, actually.. Hmm.
Um...well in class it depends on the people i'm with. If I don't know anyone then I probably won't talk unless they talk to me first but sometimes I just talk. I always do my work but when it's homework I tend to always procrastinate. Even if I do wait till the last minute I still get it done.
ReplyDeleteOut of school I'm more outgoing and talk a lot when i'm around my family and friends. It's kind of wierd but I don't know it just happens. I'm more myself outside of school then in class.
For a while in class i'll probably be kinda quiet but after a while ill start talking more lol. I will turn in my homework on time mostly and i will try my best on mostly everything.
ReplyDeleteThe difference for me inside the classroom and outside is that im with most of my friends and will open up and be loud. I love hanging with my friends and we do some weird stuff lol. when im not with my friends im either by myself or with family. I like to read a lot lol. im mostly kinda shy in class, i hate reading out loud
I'm the biggest nerd in the world, at school and at home. . .office supplies, books, computers, and an odd tendency to remember weird factoids. Oh, and a random love for climbing mountains and getting muddy.
ReplyDeleteIn school i will admit i am a little bit of a nerd. I turn in all my homework when its due. However, the only thing im not really fond of is presenting in front of the class. I get really nervous.
ReplyDeleteAt home i love to hang out with my family. I love to watch good movies. On occasion i will pull out a good book and read it. My favorite thing to do at home is go riding with my brother on my quad.
Well, I guess I could be described as a social nerd, weird huh? During class time I am generally a pretty quiet person, I listen to the techer, try to do all my work, or do it right, but outside of class I tend to be a little loud and spastic. I love making new friends, and hanging out with my old ones, during school hours. When I get home I tend to stick to myself. I can sit on my computer and google really random subjects for hours. I tend to have a wealth of really useless knowledge that sometimes weirds people out. But anyways, enough 'bout me.
ReplyDeleteAt school I'm really quiet. being the new kid is not someting I'm used to. I just moved here from Lassen. Friends mean alot to me. Outside of school I am usualy the opposite. Parents cant get me to shut my mouth. When I go back to visit Lassen I am pretty talkative too. I have been told that if I came with a warning sign it would say "People who dont know me think I'm quiet, but people that do only wish i was" I am very active I love soccer,animals, music, or anything to do with the outdoors.

ReplyDeleteI'm not really to different at home than I am at school. But I'm a little more up tight at school. I always watch what I do and feel like everything I say and do will be judge by someone so I never do anything people don't expect me to do. At home I just act like myself. I'm much more relaxed. I spend most of my time doing sports or with my boyfriend. So really I'm never home except to sleep. I always have something else going on and I'm gone till at least 9 every night.
In class i can be quiet, hardworking, chatty, or a troublemaker. It just depends on who i'm hanging out with. I usually get my work done in class unless i'm be distracted by my friends. At home I tend to procrastinate on my homework and rather play games or chill with friends. Eventually I'll get the work done though. When tennis season starts I'll be busy because I won't have much time between practices, tennis matches, homework, and other extraurricular activities I'll be involved in.
ReplyDeleteIn class I do my work and do a good job, but sometimes I do like to talk with friends. Ouside of class, when I get home I do do my homework first then I hang out with ever my friends or family.
ReplyDeleteIn class, I can be talkative or quiet. If i'm around my friends then I will probably be talking the whole class period....while doing my work. I'm a good listener and I get my work done if i'm really focused. I'm a big procrastinator but I'll always get my work done on time.
ReplyDeleteOutside of school I talk more and i'm not so shy. I'm a funny person. I hang out with friends and stuff. I'm more relaxed and feel more comfortable at home.
In class I usually try to stay on task. I try to get my work done in class as much as possible. I try to get good grades. Uhm, I'm usually quiet unless I'm around my friends.
ReplyDeleteOutside of school I'm pretty loud. I like to hang out with my family and friends. I play basketball too.
In class i try to stay quiet and on task but it is kind of hard sometimes. I procrastinate way to much. I think that it may be my biggest flaw. Outside of class my life is sports and i am a very loud person. So inside and outside of class i am a very loud person. i do try to keep my grades up and lately ive noticed that i sometimes need an extra push to use my intelligence to its full potential.
ReplyDeleteIn class I'm usually pretty talkative when I'm around my friends. I'd rather do my work at home because I think I do a better job at home than in class. If I need to I can get focused and get it done though and I'm a good listener. I usually procrastinate way too much but I always get stuff in on time. I like to be thorough with my work. Good grades are important to me so I do what I can to achieve them. Outside of school I am pretty much the same, talkative but more relaxed than I am at school.
ReplyDeleteHello Mrs. Kern! I'm really not that much different at school than I am at home. I mean, I have all my friends at school so I act a little different because I'm with friends and not family, but I'm still the same person. I'm not home all that much; I am always on the go and I love to be out doing things. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not that much different at home compared to at school. Sometimes I talk a lot sometimes I don't say anything. It depends on what class I'm in or who I'm talking to.
ReplyDeleteIm more active at home, which is good or id do something stupid at school. But i always have energy, even since i stopped drinking caffeine. But u can still find me in class with my legs shaking. Well in most classes i have energy, except in Corrum's i always fall asleep at least once. But I'm not a different kind of person at home... well maybe a little cause i can open up better to people on youtube than in person.
ReplyDeleteIn class i get my work done most of the time. I am a very talkative person a may get in trouble for that a little. When im not in school i play sports in the winter and spring, and other than that i just like to hang out with my friends and family. I spend alot of time at home but im a very big procrastinator so i dont do alot of my work until last minute unless i am pushed to do it by my parents or teacher.

ReplyDeleteUhm i am way different at school than i am at home. Unless i'm with my dad and brother i am pretty quiet at home. I like school because it is an escape for me. I laugh a lot and try to keep all A's. Some days,, people really bug me and i don't talk to anyone. I'm usually up for meeting new people or doing new things. And i like challenging things to do

ReplyDeleteI am some what of the same person inside and outside of class. I am more loud and energetic outside of class, and more calm in class. I try to be more respectful inside of class because it is a serious time. I act like more myself outside of class. Depending if I'm tired or not is a huge impact on my behavior.
ReplyDeleteI am quite a different when i am at school, compared to how i am at home.
ReplyDeleteWhen i am at school, i have a somewhat more dull personality. Every day i do pretty much the same thing with my friends and during class. We have generic conversations about video games, movies, the internet, or whatever we decided to do the previous day. Walking between classes i take the same route, hardly engaging in conversation unless i bump into someone, coasting along as if in a dream.
But at home is when i come alive. The moment i get home i'm generally more cheerful. I Usually spend my spare time drawing while listening to upbeat music. I'm not a person for making plans; I usually get a call or message from a friend and i'm off on a minute's notice, with whatever happens to be going on.
Most people don't notice this about me, but if anyone was to spend a whole day with me, i believe they would be very surprised.
I am personally very talkative outside of class. I usually hang out with my friends and am very outgoing. When we are all together, there is never a dull moment. However, in class I'm usually pretty quiet. Well actually, it mainly depends on the class and who is in it. If my friends are in it, of course I am going to talk. I dont really think having my friends in the same class will affect how my work gets done. When I know something needs to get done, I get it done.
